The ICAR-Indian Institute of Spices Research IISR is approximately 30 km from Calicut International Airport (CCJ). The fastest and most convenient option is to hire a taxi, which takes around 45–50 minutes to reach the IISR headquarters.

By Rail

The nearest railway station is Kozhikode Railway Station around 11 km from IISR. A taxi or local transport can be taken from the station to the institute.
