M.Tech/ MSc Student Training

Students enrolled in M.Sc., M.Tech., or M.Phil programs at recognized universities are eligible to apply for project work at ICAR–IISR, Kozhikode. Applicants should have a minimum of 70% marks in the first semester of their program.

This training provides hands-on experience in bioinformatics, genomics, transcriptomics, and related computational approaches, allowing students to gain practical skills and exposure to ongoing research in spice science.

Duration of Training
Minimum: Three months
Maximum: Six months

Fee structure
Rs. 20,000 + 3,600 (18% GST) (up to 3 months)
Rs. 30,000 + 5,400 (18% GST) (up to 6 months)

Hii, My name is Priyanka Behera, Now I have completed my MSc Project in ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode Kerala in Bioinformatics under Sona Charles Mam. Without any difficulty, in a smooth way I successfully completed my thesis work. Mam is so helpful , with a very good and delicate way she always explained my work in each and every point.
